Today, October 18, 2024, you can expect mostly sunny skies in Manteo with a high near 68°F. Winds will be breezy from the northeast at 18 mph, with gusts reaching up to 28 mph, making it a great day for outdoor activities—just be prepared for a bit of wind. Tonight, temperatures will drop to around 54°F with partly cloudy skies. There's a High Surf Advisory and Coastal Flood Advisory in effect until October 20, so be mindful of beach conditions if you're heading near the water.
or those dipping into the ocean, the water temperature is hovering around 70°F. Be cautious though, as strong surf and hazardous beach conditions are expected.
As November approaches, it's a fantastic time to explore the OBX. Cooler weather and fewer crowds make it ideal for hiking through Nags Head Woods or visiting the stunning Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
