Things to Do on the OBX for September 15th 2024
🌤️ Good morning, OBX explorers! It’s September 15, 2024, and we're gearing up for a mostly cloudy day with a high near 79°F. Expect a breezy northeast wind around 23 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. There’s a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the late morning and afternoon, so you might want to pack your umbrella just in case! The evening will bring more chances of rain, with low temperatures dipping to 72°F
For beach lovers, today's high tide will roll in around noon, and the water temperature is a comfortable 81°F, perfect for a quick swim if the weather holds up!
With only 7 days left until the official start of fall, now's the time to take full advantage of all the OBX has to offer. Looking for a unique adventure? Check out Run Hill for some dune-climbing fun or explore the tranquil beauty of Nags Head Woods.
And if you’re braving today’s breezy conditions, be sure to grab the right umbrella for windy days. Planning your next OBX trip? Find out the best months to visit for perfect weather.
