The National Weather Service reports mostly sunny skies in Manteo, with temperatures reaching a comfortable high of 84°F. A gentle breeze from the southeast will keep things pleasant, making it an ideal day for all kinds of outdoor activities.

Today is also National Senior Citizens Day—a day to honor and appreciate the wisdom, experience, and contributions of our senior community.
